The Sharks were also beat to sh-t mentally and physically going into the Van series after that epic 7 gamer vs Det who were playing at very high level. LA was no duckwalk either and better than people thought as the Sharks were lucky to win in 6.
Being in the Western Conf is a huge disadvantage cause it's by FAR a superior Conference top to bottom and why better teams like Van and Det (3 yrs ago) have run out of gas in the Finals.
Btw, Van was the best team last year without a doubt no matter what anyone says. Injuries and guys all beat up killed them in the end.
Thanks. Ya we lost to a more healthy team in the end. Sometimes winning the Stanley Cup comes down survival more than anything else.
